Atlus is a 100% non-profit educational project. Unlike big tech companies, we don't sell your data or run ads. Providing top-tier AI like Gemini to thousands of students for free would cost us thousands of dollars a month. By using your own key, you access the AI directly, bypassing middlemen and keeping this platform free for everyone.
02 // THE HOW
1. Visit Google AI Studio.
2. Click "Create API key".
3. Copy the key and paste it into the API Key field in your Atlus Profile (Profile icon in the header).
03 // PRIVACY & SECURITY
Your key is stored locally on your browser's LocalStorage. It never touches our servers. Communication happens directly between your computer and Google. You have full control—revoke it anytime at Google AI Studio.
